Greetings to all of St. Luke Parish!
As a member of the St. Luke Catholic School community since 2007, I am thrilled to take on the role as principal of our wonderful school!
After attending St. Mary Catholic Elementary school and St. Paul Catholic High School, I attended Providence College, graduating in 1993 with a Bachelor of the Arts in Political Science. Following my time at PC, I worked for a time with the United States Postal Service, when I decided to return to college to become a certified teacher. I attended Central Connecticut State University and received my certification in elementary education in 1998.
I began my teaching career with the Archdiocese of Hartford in 2001, teaching First Grade at St. Mary School in Meriden. With the closure of St. Mary in 2007, I was blessed with the opportunity to come to St. Thomas as the Middle School Religion, Social Studies, and History teacher. Throughout my years here, I have been afforded opportunities to be the Athletic Director, Head Teacher, and many other roles. Catholic school teaching is a calling with which I have been blessed!
As we look to the future, I envision St. Luke experiencing a growth in enrollment while strengthening our Catholic faith-based educational opportunities. I look forward to working with the community of St. Luke Parish and school to develop enriching educational experiences through our STREAM program.
I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Sandy, since 1998. We have two beautiful children, Olivia and Charlie. They have supported my ministry through these many years and can often be seen at different school events.
I look forward to welcoming everyone to our school. You are always welcome to come for a tour, attend Mass, and engage with our students during special events. If you are a graduate of St. Thomas, St. Dominic, Southington Catholic, or St. Luke, we would love to have you visit and see all that our St. Luke Catholic School community is engaged in learning and doing.
